RULES AND PROCEDURES

IESE and Roland Berger welcome you to the International MBA Case Competition and wish you luck in the preparation and presentation of the case.

Below you will find the rules and procedures that will be applied to all teams and to each team member throughout the competition.

We rely on your personal integrity to comply with these rules. You will be asked to express this commitment in a formal Oath for Participants on the first day of the event.

Each team will receive the same case and will be challenged to work through the problems and key issues presented in it. At the end of the final working period, each team shall turn in a written presentation. In addition, there will be two rounds of oral presentation of the contents of the written document. In the first round, two panels of three judges assigned by Roland Berger will evaluate four teams each in order to select the best team of their group. These two teams will compete in the last round. In the second and final round, a panel of judges assigned by Roland Berger will evaluate the four teams' presentations. Based on the level of the analysis carried out and conclusions drawn by each team, the judges will select an overall winner placing equal emphasis on both the written presentation and the oral presentation.
